Claims to Dispatch Portlet

The Claims to Dispatch Portlet show up to ten new assignments that have not be dispatched to a field appraiser.

At the bottom of the portlet, it states how many assignments are waiting to be dispatched. If there are more than ten assignments waiting to be dispatched, click the Maximize button to see the complete list of assignments waiting to be dispatched.

Columns in the Claims to Dispatch Portlet

There are seven columns in the Claims to Dispatch portlet.  The columns are Dispatch, Claim Reference ID, Assignment Sent Date, Vehicle Owner, Vehicle Location, Insurance Company, and IA File ID.

  • Dispatch – Checkbox to select which assignments to be dispatched to a field appraiser.
  • Claim Reference ID – The Insurance Company identifier for the assignment or claim.
  • Assignment Sent  – The date the assignment was sent from the Insurance Company to the IA office.
  • Vehicle Owner – The owner of the vehicle.  This could be the insured or the claimant on the assignment. 
  • Vehicle Location – The current location of the vehicle according to the Insurance Company assignment.  If the vehicle location is blank, then the vehicle location was not entered in the assignment.  (The vehicle owner’s address might be included in the assignment, but not under the vehicle location address.)  
  • Insurance Company – The Insurance Company that sent the assignment.
  • IA File ID - The internal reference number for the IA office.
